Finding the correct size for your Kask visor ski helmet is essential for comfort, stability, and protection. Kask helmets use a distinctive European sizing system that differs from traditional U.S. helmet sizing and from other visor helmet brands such as CP and Atomic.

At Stefan Kaelin, we've converted Kask's sizing into familiar U.S. size labels to make choosing your helmet easier.

How to Measure Your Head

1. Use a soft, flexible measuring tape.
2. Wrap it around the widest part of your head, just above your ears and approximately 1–2 cm above your eyebrows.
3. Keep the tape level and snug without pulling it too tightly.
4. Record your head circumference in centimeters.
5. Compare your measurement with the Kask size conversion chart below.

Important: Kask's labeled helmet sizes do not directly correspond to measured head circumference. Use the conversion chart rather than choosing the size you normally wear in another brand.

Understanding the Kask Fit

Unlike CP's Size Adapting System or Atomic's 360° Fit System, Kask relies more heavily on selecting the correct helmet size from the outset.

Because of this, measuring your head carefully is especially important.

Fit Tips for Kask Visor Helmets

- The helmet should feel secure without creating uncomfortable pressure points.
- It should sit level on your head, with the front edge positioned above your eyebrows.
- Fasten the chin strap and gently move your head to check for excessive movement.
- Lower the visor to confirm that it fits comfortably around your face and eyewear.
- Do not assume your size in CP, Atomic, or another helmet brand will be the same in Kask.
